The Role: Workshop & Equipment Repair Technician
This role is responsible for diagnosing repairing and maintaining workshop and machining equipment to ensure operational reliability. The position requires strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding ability combined with accurate digital job tracking and reporting. The successful candidate will manage repairs from start to finish while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities

Minimum 5 years experience in a workshop or equipment repair role

Diagnose troubleshoot and repair workshop and machining equipment

Perform mechanical and electrical fault-finding

Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment

Test and ensure equipment meets required quality standards

Capture and manage job cards repair reports and parts usage on the computer system

Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records

Ensure workshop safety and compliance standards are met
About You
-
Minimum 5 years experience in a workshop or equipment repair role

Red Seal or Diploma in Mechanical and/or Electrical field
-
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
-
Proficient with hand tools power tools and diagnostic equipment
-
Computer literate with experience using maintenance or repairs systems

Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
