What Were Looking For

We are seeking a highly analytical structured and motivated Functional Analyst with a strong ability to interpret conceptualise and design complex information flows and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will combine skills in functional analysis software development and data modelling acting as a vital bridge between business vision and technical implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed functional analysis based on business and regulatory requirements;
• Design and document information flows algorithms and data models;
• Translate business needs into clear structured technical and functional specifications;
• Contribute to architectural discussions with a strong focus on data structuring and API design;
• Evaluate the technical feasibility and scope of new features and support backlog grooming and sprint planning;
• Collaborate with Product Owners Developers and Business Stakeholders to align on solution design and delivery;
• Support development teams throughout implementation ensuring adherence to best engineering practices;
• Promote a culture of technical excellence continuous improvement and scalability.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Engineering Physics Engineering Civil Engineering or related technical fields;
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Functional Analyst Business Analyst or Product Owner (experience in SaaS or complex software products is a plus);
• Strong analytical and system-thinking skills with fluency in data structures process modelling and algorithmic thinking;
• Proven experience in designing technical specifications APIs and data models;
• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban);
• Fluent in both Portuguese and English (written and spoken).

Nice to Have

• Experience with middleware platforms (e.g. Strapi) or event-driven architectures;
• Knowledge of data architecture analytical pipelines or scalable systems;
• Background or interest in construction civil engineering or infrastructure sectors.
