About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Nursing Director to lead the Med-Surg/Telemetry unit. This position oversees clinical operational and financial performance while ensuring safe high-quality patient care. The Nursing Director will also support the development of nursing leaders and drive initiatives that improve patient outcomes.
What Youll Do

Provide leadership and direction for the Med-Surg/Telemetry unit.

Oversee staffing quality safety service and patient experience.

Mentor nursing leaders using Evidence-Based Leadership practices.
- Collaborate with physicians staff and senior leadership to improve patient care.
- Lead performance improvement initiatives and manage departmental budgets.
-
Ensure staff are competent in nursing processes and equipment use.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and optimize patient safety.
- Develop and coordinate orientation programs continuing education and in-services.
- Support departmental performance improvement activities patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
-
Bachelors in Nursing required; Masters preferred
-
5 years of progressive acute care leadership experience
-
Strong background in Med-Surg/Telemetry preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams manage budgets and implement quality initiatives
