Medical Director Veterinary Medicine
A community-focused veterinary practice is seeking an experienced Medical Director (DVM/VMD) to lead a compassionate team-oriented hospital in a growing Virginia market. Leadership Responsibilities
- Support clinicians in medical excellence professional growth and administrative development
- Lead and develop the hospital team through meetings performance reviews and compliance oversight
- Partner with regional and hospital leadership on strategic planning operational compliance and long-term growth
- Foster a culture of high-quality medicine collaboration and financial sustainability

Candidate Profile
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Preferred 5 years of clinical experience
- Proven leadership with strong emotional intelligence
- Commitment to ethical practice and high medical standards
- Ability to delegate effectively and drive team performance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
