Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of engineers and technical staff; oversee hiring performance reviews and resource allocation.
- Drive business development and expand the companys market presence with local county and state clients.
- Manage department budgets allocate resources and ensure profitable project delivery.
- Provide technical expertise in bridge and horizontal structural engineering projects.
- Collaborate with office managers and practice leaders to coordinate strategic growth plans.
- Contribute to proposals and business development initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited program.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- 10 years of experience in bridge and horizontal structural engineering.
- Proven project management and business development experience.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; structural design software experience (SAP2000 ETABS or RISA) preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with local government county or state clients.
- Prior supervisory or senior leadership experience.
