Job Summary
RBC Precision Products - Bremen Indiana
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Follow all SOP Manual instructions (#1 or #2 furnace).
Load hoppers and properly monitor furnace settings according to guidelines.
Load monitor and unload Green Tumblers according to process instructions following SOP Manual
Follow Process Sheet instructions.
Monitor parts to determine that the parts are at correct hardness and surface conditions from both quench and draw according to procedure specifications.
Report to the supervisor any nonconforming parts found so that a disposition can be determined.
Graphite and sort parts.
Dump skimmer runoff as needed and monitor proper wash tank level.
Report all machine problems to the supervisor in a timely manner.
Keep accurate and complete records of production and all required checks as they pertain to the particular part.
Cooperate with the Quality Assurance Technician and make corrections as warranted to assure quality parts.
Assure the department work area is clean for the next shift.
Other duties as assigned.
