Job Summary:
The Carrier Solutions Representativeis responsible forprocuringand developingcarrierrelationships.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Sources qualifies and develops strategic carrier partners for current and future freight needs
Buildsandmaintainsaccuratecarrier profiles within company systems ensuring data integrity and usability
Applies data-driven insights and compliance requirements to evaluate select andmaintaina high-performing carrier network
Utilizes data technology and market insights to match carriers withoptimalfreight opportunities
Develops long-term carrier relationships focused on performance reliability and mutual growth
Identifiesand connects carrier candidates for specific freight opportunities
Collaborates cross-functionally with operations pricing sales and customer teams to support customer success
Supports strategic initiatives to strengthen and scale DLXs carrier network
Monitors carrier performance and market trends to proactively address capacity needs
RequiredSkills/Abilities:
Must be focused motivated and organized
Must be comfortable with communicating over the phone
Flexible team playercapable of multitasking
Working knowledge of technology
Must be open-minded and eager to learn/grow skills
Proficiencyin Excel
Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) preferred
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required;bachelors degree preferred
Previousexperience inthe Transportation industry preferred
Physical Requirements:
Physical dexteritysufficientto use hands arms and shoulders repetitively tooperatea keyboard and other office equipment use a telephone access file cabinets and other items stored at various levels including overhead
Ability to speak and hear well enough to communicate clearly and understandablywithsufficient volume to ensurean accurateexchange of informationin normalconversational distance over the telephone and in a group setting
Ability to continuouslyoperatea personal computer for extended periods of time (4 or more hours)
Mental acuity sufficient to collect and interpret data evaluate reason define problemsestablishfacts draw valid conclusions make valid judgments and decisions
