About us:

In our commercial modifications team we are proud to operate under our EASA Part21J Design Organization Approval; with a clear mission: to become the number one customer choice for aircraft retrofit solutions in the commercial aviation market. Our international team with strong presences in Munich and Hamburg specializes in interior retrofit projects ranging from halon fire extinguisher replacements to full cabin tube strips.

As we expand our operations in Germany we are excited to grow our Seat Integration Team focusing on unique seat certification and integration for all Boeing aircraft models. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional value and quality making us the preferred provider of cabin modifications and maintenance.

In this role you will:

  • Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the future of commercial aircraft modification within Boeing overseeing EASA Modifications programs to ensure alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements

  • Lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary agile engineering team specializing in electrical and avionic design and certification activities fostering a collaborative environment that drives innovation and technical excellence

  • Champion a culture of safety quality and continuous improvement within a complex matrixed organization ensuring all projects and deliverables meet stringent timelines budgets and quality standards

  • Drive engineering functional excellence by optimizing people processes tools and best practices; implement productivity enhancements and facilitate knowledge sharing across teams

  • Oversee the planning execution and delivery of technical projects and process improvements while actively developing your teams skills careers and talents through targeted coaching and mentorship

  • Serve as a key Boeing representative in customer engagements and on-site support during the embodiment phase of projects building and maintaining strong sustainable relationships with customers stakeholders and partners

  • Provide authoritative oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and alignment with Boeings strategic objectives

What You Bring to the Table

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited program in aerospace engineering another safety-critical engineering discipline or a comparable field

  • 10 years of experience working within an EASA Design Organisation (DOA) or a similar aerospace environment

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience:Extensive experience managing EASA design organization projects coupled with strong skills in people leadership time management and budget oversight. You are a proactive change agent continuously seeking to improve working practices and procedures to enhance the companys business model. Your proven project management expertise enables you to successfully deliver complex engineering change programs on time within budget and to the highest quality standards

  • Technical Knowledge:Deep understanding of engineering job practices with hands-on experience in Type Design and Continuing Airworthiness for Part 25 aircraft. You possess comprehensive knowledge of certification processes design changes and modifications relevant to the aerospace industry

  • Collaboration:Skilled at working effectively with colleagues customers and diverse stakeholders you take ownership of challenges and act professionally to protect and enhance the companys reputation. Building strong trust-based relationships comes naturally to you.

  • Leadership:A true people partner with a proven track record of managing engineers at all levels and building highly effective distributed teams. You thrive in dynamic matrixed environments and adapt seamlessly to evolving technologies stakeholder needs and complex situations.
