Northeast Precast is a growing precast concrete manufacturer specializing in the design and production of structural concrete components. What Youll Do as a Quality Control Inspector:

• Inspect precast concrete during each stage of production from form setup and reinforcing through finishing curing stripping and storage.
• Check dimensions tolerances surface finish and embed placement against drawings and specifications.
• Make cure & store concrete test cylinders in accordance with required standards.
• Verify materials and mix designs match approved submittals.
• Keep clear accurate inspection records and document any nonconforming work.
• Flag defects early and communicate issues to production and engineering.
• Work with the team to identify root causes and prevent repeat issues.
• Support production teams by reinforcing quality expectations and best practices.
• Follow plant safety rules and keep inspection and testing areas organized.

Our Ideal Quality Control Inspector:

• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in quality control or a related field preferred. Experience in construction precast concrete manufacturing or another technical role is a plus. Able to read and understand shop drawings specifications and inspection criteria.
• Detail-Oriented & Accountable: Notices small issues follows through on findings and takes responsibility for accurate inspections and documentation.
• Reliable: Works well with minimal supervision shows up consistently and can be trusted to manage daily inspection tasks.
• Clear Communicator: Communicates findings clearly in writing and in conversation with production engineering and management.
• Calm Under Pressure: Maintains a steady professional approach in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Teachable Attitude: Willing and able to learn new processes standards and quality expectations.
• Computer Skills: Uses basic computer systems for inspection records reports and documentation.
• Active: Able to stand walk climb bend and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed in a plant environment.

• Full-time position with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule 4:00 a.m. start time 50 hours per week
• $19-$22 per hour depending on experience
