The Role
Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on experience
Planning and delivering engaging well-structured lessons
Supporting pupils with performance composition and coursework
Encouraging musical creativity and confidence across a range of styles and disciplines
Contributing to ensembles concerts and wider school performances
Working collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced Music department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Music or a related subject
Experience teaching Music at KS3 and KS4
Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice
High expectations for pupil engagement behaviour and progress
A professional organised and positive teaching approach
