AdfinitasHealth has a Full Time opening for a nurse practitioner or physician assistantto join our Hospitalist team at University of Maryland Capital Region in LargoMaryland.
Position Details
- Our hospitalist team provides inpatient carewithin the hospital setting including admitting patients performing physicalexams ordering tests diagnosing performing hospital rounds and planning fordischarge.
- Heart & Vascular Institute with dedicated cardiac intensive care unit
- Designated Stroke Center
- Level II Trauma Center
- 2 Helipads including one large enough to accommodate Marine One
- 205 licensed beds in private rooms
- 32 Bed intensive care unit
- Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residency programs
- Must have a Minimum of18 months acute experience as an advanced practice provider in hospitalist orsimilar position. Must also be a graduate of an accredited Acute Care NursePractitioner or Physician Assistant Program and carry an active Maryland statelicense American Heart Association CPR Certification DEA License stateControlled Substance Registration

We have an opportunity for an experienced APP to join our well-established Hospital Medicine service at University of Maryland at Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata Maryland. This is a full-time position.
Position Details
Our hospitalist team provides inpatient care within the hospital setting including admitting patients performing physical exams ordering tests diagnosing performing hospital rounds and planning for discharge.
Flexible block schedule
EMR: EPIC
Shift time: typically 12p 10p
Average Admits and Consults per shift: 6-8
Cross Coverage: Yes additional provider support except for 6-8p
Physician Supervision and Support: Yes remotely between 6-8p
ICU: Managed by the Intensivist
Procedures/Vents: None
Run Codes: No
Must be BC/BE in Internal Medicine with an active Maryland license BLS ACLS DEA and CDS License.
