Job Summary
Provides a comprehensive array of professional services related to the identification assessment diagnosis and treatment of persons with auditory and balance disorders and the disabilities associated with them. Audiologists utilize evaluation assessment patient education and counseling tools to identify and provide non-medical management of disorders of the auditory balance and neural system. Audiologists work independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
AuD or PhD in Audiology or an Audiologist practicing with a masters degree in audiology before August 2007.
AUDIOLOGIST
PRACTICE SPECIFICS
- Provide a comprehensive array of diagnostic audiology tests and rehabilitative services to patients of all ages
- Diagnostic testing: audiological vestibular and implant assessments immittance otoacoustic emissions evoked potentials
- Rehabilitative services: implant programming hearing instrument recommendations selection and fittings aural rehab and treatment for Benign Paroxysmal Positioning Vertigo
- Majority of position is direct care to outpatients and inpatients

REQUIREMENTS
- AuD or PhD in Audiology or an Audiologist practicing with a Masters degree in Audiology before August 2007
- Eligible for licensure as an Audiologist in Wisconsin and Minnesota
LOCATION
- 150 miles north of Minneapolis MN
- Located on the westernmost tip of Great Lake Superior
- Superior population: 28000; Duluth/Superior regional population: 130000
