Location:Findlay IL Pay:$20$24/hour Start Date:Immediate
Overview:
Join our team as aCDL A Truck Driverand play a crucial role in supporting agricultural operations. This role primarily involves transporting fertilizer and ag chemicals to farms and company locations with occasional grain hauling during slower periods. Were looking for a reliable safety-conscious professional who values excellent service and enjoys a dynamic work environment.
What Youll Do:
Safely transport fertilizer and agricultural chemicals to farms dealers and company branches.
Haul grain and other agricultural products during off-peak periods as needed.
Maintain accurate delivery logs inventory records and DOT documentation.
Communicate effectively with dispatch to ensure smooth route coordination.
Operate trucks and equipment in full compliance with FMCSA and USDOT regulations.
Assist with additional duties and tasks as required.
What Were Looking For:
Experience & Knowledge:
Prior experience in agriculture or farming operations preferred.
Understanding of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR).
Basic knowledge of commercial truck maintenance and pre-trip inspections.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to follow safety protocols and company procedures consistently.
Comfortable using computers mobile devices and logging software.
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Class A CDL required.
Manual transmission experience required.
Hazmat endorsement preferred.
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs repeatedly perform repetitive motions and safely handle equipment.
Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
