Werelooking for an experienced Commercial Surveyor to join Crocus Homes and play a pivotal role in managingoverseeingand optimising the financial and contractual elements of our projects.
This is a key position within the business ensuring our developments are delivered within budget whilemaintainingthehigh standardsof quality we are known for.
As a Commercial Surveyor you will take ownership of cost control contractualmanagementand financial monitoring across multiple residential projects. Yourexpertisewill help us drive cost efficiency strengthen commercialperformanceand ensure full compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations.
About the Role
You will manage all aspects of budgeting forecasting financialplanningand contract administration for assigned and award supplier and subcontractor agreements oversee orderspaymentsand variations through our COINS payment system and continuouslymonitorexpenditure to ensure projectsremainfinancially on track. Regular reporting will form part of your responsibilitiesprovidingcommercial insight that supports wider business decisionmaking.

About You
You will hold a BSc (Hons) degree in a constructionrelated discipline along with a relevant CSCS card and a full UK driving licence. We are looking for someone with experienceoperatingat a senior level in financial cost management coupled with demonstrableexpertisein contract management and delivering residential projects for a housebuilder. Experience using COINS is essential.
Youllbring strong analytical and numerical skills excellent negotiation capability and the ability to interpret and manage financial data with accuracy and attention to detail. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are important as you will be liaising with internal colleagues externalpartnersand subcontractors daily.
Werelooking for someone who canplan ahead mitigate commercial risk and proactively find solutions to emerging challenges. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively is key along with strong organisational skills and confidence in working to deadlines in a fastpaced Microsoft Office and a genuine commitment to diversity and inclusion are also essential.
Personal Attributes
This role involves regular travel to development sites and our Head Office. We value flexibility and while core hours aregenerally 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday we expect an adaptable approach to support business needs.
