Job Summary
Were hiring our first designer: a Founding Visual & Brand Systems Designer.
This is a high-impact role for someone who can create a consistent visual system and ship high-quality assets fast across packaging e-commerce marketing and sales materials. Youll help define how Living Roots looks and feels everywhere.
Living Roots builds regenerative agriculture systems across Southeast Asia combining biological inputs agronomic science and modern software. We run real-world trials manufacture products and build tools that help growers get better results with less environmental harm.
Tasks
What youll own
Brand system templates
- Build a clean scalable visual identity (type color layout rules icon style photo style)
- Create reusable templates for faster production (social ads product sheets reports decks)
Packaging labels
- Design bilingual labels and packaging systems across SKUs
- Illustration and visual design for labels both for farmers & home gardeners
- Prepare print-ready files and work with printers/vendors
E-commerce & web design
- Design Shopify landing pages PDP layouts banners and product comparison visuals
- Create icons/diagrams that explain benefits usage and outcomes clearly
Sales science communication
- Pitch decks B2B one-pagers trial report templates case studies
- Turn technical/agronomic info into simple trustworthy visuals
What success looks like (first 6090 days)
- A clear brand system design library (Figma/Canva templates)
- Packaging/label system that scales across products without reinventing each time
- Faster content production (marketing and sales teams stop being bottlenecked)
- Website/product pages look cohesive and convert better
Requirements
You might be a fit if you
- Are a strong visual designer who also thinks in systems and templates
- Can ship quickly without sacrificing clarity and quality
- Have experience with packaging/print and web/ecomm creative
- Can simplify complex information and make it feel premium trustworthy
- Are comfortable in a startup environment with variety and ownership
