Job Summary
Nemours Childrens Health is seeking Pediatric Nephrologists to join our team in Jacksonville Florida.
Candidates will be expected to provide compassionate evidence-based care in both inpatient and outpatient settings participate in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to education research and quality improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage pediatric patients with a wide range of kidney-related conditions including: acute and chronic kidney disease hypertension nephrotic and nephritic syndromes congenital and inherited renal disorders electrolyte and acid-base abnormalities and urinary tract anomalies
- Manage and oversee dialysis
- Provide consultative services to other hospital departments and participate in multidisciplinary rounds
- Participate in shared call coverage including inpatient consults and after-hours responsibilities
- Educate patients and families about disease management medications nutrition and treatment plans

Qualifications:
- MD or DO
- Board eligible/certified in specialty
- Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical license and DEA
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
