Job Description

Innovative Sheet Metal (ISM) is currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Laborer to support our commercial HVAC sheet metal crews in Salt Lake City and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to get into the trades and build a long-term career in construction.

This position is ideal for a motivated individual who is willing to learn work hard and help keep job sites running smoothly. There is strong potential for advancement into an Installer Apprentice role for the right person.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and safe jobsite including sweeping trash removal and general cleanup.
Assist crews by retrieving tools materials and equipment as needed.
Move and stage sheet metal materials and jobsite supplies.
Help load and unload trucks and organize materials.
Support basic demolition and removal work when needed.
Follow all company safety policies and jobsite requirements.
Work as part of a team and take direction from foremen and lead installers.

Qualifications

Construction experience is helpful but not required (entry-level welcome).
Dependable and able to work a consistent 40-hour work week.
Willingness to learn and take direction.
Strong work ethic positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical jobsite work.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check.
