Senior Java Developer with 6 plus years of experience as a Java Developer working on Java 8 Spring Boot and REST APIs. Strong experience in GCP and Splunk. Responsible for monitoring environments and resolving failures liaising with onshore development teams and fixing vulnerabilities performing version upgrades and improving code quality and coverage analyzing and handling workflows creating Spring Boot REST APIs to interact with other REST APIs SOAP APIs and SQL and stored procedure databases transforming and enriching existing APIs or creating new APIs as required and providing minimal weekend coverage to monitor job runs. Mandatory skills include Java 8 and Spring Boot with more than five years of project experience REST APIs with at least two years of project experience SQL and stored procedures with at least two years of project experience Apache Kafka with at least one year of project experience and GCP and Splunk with at least one year of project experience. Secondary skills include Gradle Java 8 Spring Boot Maven RESTful web services REST APIs SQL and stored procedures Apache Kafka Groovy GCP and Splunk along with experience in creating Spring Boot REST APIs to interact with other REST APIs and databases and transforming or creating APIs to meet business requirements.
