Summary:

• Lead the design development testing and maintenance of non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle ensuring compliance with industry customer safety and regulatory standards.

• Oversee review analysis and translation of customer requirements into initial software product designs.

• Coordinate the development maintenance enhancement and optimization of software products and system integration functionalities.

• Lead documentation and maintenance of architectures requirements algorithms interfaces and designs for software products.

• Debug and resolve software issues to ensure product reliability and efficiency.

• Handle user inquiries troubleshoot technical issues and analyze user feedback.

• Research and implement current and emerging technologies tools frameworks and relevant regulatory changes.

• Develop monitor and improve software processes tools and key performance metrics to align projects with organizational goals and industry standards.

• Execute and document software research and development projects.

• Provide consultation on software domains system-specific issues processes and regulations.

• Lead software project management and supplier management activities.

• Track and evaluate software team and supplier performance to ensure product and process compliance with project plans and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited program in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelors).

• 9 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Masters 7 years PhD 4 years).

• ABET accreditation is preferred but not required.

• 5 years of C# development experience

• 5 years of experience in an Agile development environment

• Experience designing and implementing new customer-facing features

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
