Title: DS - Data Integration Consultant Location: Seattle (Hybrid)
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer to design and implement integration solutions between SAP and external applications such as Oracle and homegrown systems. Working within the CM&T sector the consultant will leverage AWS S3 and Redshift to build robust data pipelines. This role requires a professional who can translate ambiguous business requirements into technical solutions while collaborating closely with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement integration between SAP and external applications using AWS S3 and Redshift.
- Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and present industry-leading practices.
- Develop ETL processes data models and data warehousing solutions.
- Conduct design workshops configuration and testing.
- Participate in scrum calls and provide consistent status updates.
- Build data pipelines using AWS Glue Lambda and Step Functions.
Required Skills
- Data Management & Integration: 5 years of experience.
- AWS Stack: Mandatory expertise in Redshift and S3.
- Programming: 5 years of Advanced Python and SQL.
- Data Engineering: 5 years of experience in data modeling ETL development and data warehousing.
- AWS Services: Experience with AWS Glue Lambda and Step Functions.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Big Data platforms (Amazon EMR Data Lakes).
- Experience with AWS EC2.
