Role: Senior Data Engineer - Fabric AWS Power BI.

Location: New Jersey NJ (Onsite).

Duration: Long Term Contract.

About the Role:

Join our high-impact Data Engineering team to architect scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric AWS and Power BI. Youll design data pipelines optimize analytics workflows and deliver actionable insights for stakeholders. Were seeking a seasoned engineer with 7-10 years of hands-on experience and proven long-term project delivery.

What Youll Deliver:

Architect and implement end-to-end data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse Dataflows Notebooks Real-Time Intelligence).
Design robust data models and semantic layers for complex analytics in Power BI (DAX Power Query Premium features).
Build and optimize AWS services (S3 Glue Lambda Redshift Athena EMR) for data ingestion transformation and orchestration.
Develop Python-based ETL processes data quality frameworks and automation scripts.
Collaborate with actuaries/business users to translate requirements into scalable analytics solutions.
Ensure data governance security and performance across hybrid cloud environments.

Must-Have Experience (7-10 years total):

3 years hands-on Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse architecture shortcuts mirroring OneLake).
3 years advanced Power BI (complex DAX composite models incremental refresh paginated reports).
2 years AWS data services (Glue ETL S3 data lake Lambda orchestration Redshift/Athena).
Python proficiency (Pandas PySpark Boto3 data pipeline automation).
Long-term project history (1 year engagements demonstrating sustained impact).
Data modeling expertise (dimensional modeling star schemas slowly changing dimensions).
Local to NJ (hybrid work - 2-3 days/week onsite preferred).

Nice-to-Have:

Actuarial domain experience (insurance risk modeling reserving pricing analytics).
Azure Synapse Databricks or Snowflake experience.
CI/CD for data pipelines dbt Airflow orchestration.
