YOUR DAY AS A SEASONAL DOCK ATTENDANT

You provide outstanding friendly customer service to all port patrons and employees as a Dock Attendant. With an eye for detail you maintain the cleanliness and safety of the marina by picking up trash. You enjoy the fresh air and the opportunity to get some exercise as you walk 5-10 miles each day while keeping the marina tidy and catching boat lines to dock and secure an effort to maintain current information regarding the status of all guest moorage you conduct dock checks. As needed you assist at the fuel dock. You enjoy the variety in your job and love being able to work outside and get tons of steps in!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

17 years old or older
Basic computer skills
Ability to work a full-time set schedule that includes weekends and holidays throughout the summer
Capability to lift pull or carry up to 50 pounds
Physical ability to stand walk crouch kneel twist stoop reach bend pivot and climb
Possess and maintain a valid drivers license
Ability to read and speak English

WORK SCHEDULE

Dock Attendants work five shifts each week from 8 am to 4:30 pm OR from 9:30 am to 6 pm including weekends and holidays. Holidays are paid paid at the overtime rate.

SEASONAL STAFF BONUS PROGRAM

Seasonal employees who work 440 hours in the peak season (April-October) will be eligible for a $1000 end-of-season bonus paid on their last paycheck a $2500 tuition stipend paid directly to an accredited college university academy or trade school or a $3000 tuition stipend for a maritime-related program paid directly to an accredited college university academy or trade school.
