What you will do:
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician you will support the safe reliable and efficient operation of mechanical and utility systems at the Qnity Dayton IAAS site. This position performs handson preventive and corrective maintenance on chillers steam systems air compressors pumps and supporting infrastructure while partnering with Operations Construction and Commissioning teams.
**This role includes oncall responsibilities and may require working varying shifts including weekends. **
How you will do it:
- Maintain and troubleshoot chiller systems (Resin Buckeye Comfort Plant) including pumps glycol systems valves heat exchangers and refrigerant circuits
- Support steam system operations inspections leak repairs outages and new piping ties
- Maintain and repair air compressors dryers utility pumps and related systems
- Support construction outages utility tieins and commissioning activities
- Assist with BAS/BMS monitoring alarms and point checks (including BACnetintegrated systems)
- Follow all safety compliance and permittowork procedures (LOTO hot work confined space)
- Document maintenance activities and collaboration with technicians contractors and client teams
What we look for:
- 35 years of experience in HVAC mechanical systems or industrial/utility maintenance
- Working knowledge of chillers steam systems pumps piping valves and controls
- Ability to read mechanical drawings P&IDs and equipment documentation
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- EPA Section 608 Certification (Type II or Universal)
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $26.06 - 35.79 Hourly rate to be determined by the education experience knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with market data.)
