Job Summary
The Routing & Logistics Expert researches develops and implements routing and logistics plans to enhance productivity safety and decreased costs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Designs and re-designs routing and logistics solutions through the collection verification and analysis of current data relating to existing routes vehicles disposal facilities and productivity.
- Assists in the development of policies guidelines and procedures to ensure quality and cost control. Creates and implements plans to optimize routes and other transportation operations.
- Communicates route changes to key personnel and provides necessary training and transitioning tools.
- Monitors activity during implementation of new optimized routes.
- Monitors and analyzes productivity results.
Qualifications
A. Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree (accredited) in Computer Science Business Administration or similar area of study
- High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and two (2) years of relevant work experience
- No experience No prior work experience (in addition to education requirement)
B. Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a logistics/transportation environment
- Demonstrated ability to influence and align cross-functional partners
Strong collaboration and communication skills with a servant leader mindset focused on supporting teams removing barriers and driving shared outcomes
Proven problem-solving skills
This job primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers phones copy machines etc. This is a hybrid role Monday - Thursday in office and Fridays are flexible to work from home.
The expected base pay range for this hybrid position is $85000- $105000 This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates relevant experience education training certifications qualifications and work addition this position is eligible for bonus. This position is for an existing vacancy.
