This internship is an excellent fit for individuals interested in corporate communication strategy graphic design and/or visual development with a particular focus on developing and sharing knowledge about the various Sony Group Corporation operating companies within the United States.
This position will be on apart time internship of 20-24 hours andfully in personwith3days per week(Monday Tuesday & Thursday)in theNew York Cityofficeat 25 Madison Avenue.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Assistin the production of writtengraphicand video content contributing to various projects and internal campaigns withafocus on video editing and production
Liaise with internal contacts to gather needed content/visual assets ensuring that they are categorized and easily accessible for team use
Organize andmaintainthe departmental project asset library ensuring all files are properly categorized andup-to-date
Perform organizational research and analyzeaccruedcontent for authenticity
Support the planning and execution ofspecial eventssuch as special film screenings and high-level leadership forums contributing tologisticsand visual presentation
Support the SCA Corporate Communications department with general departmental and administrative duties
QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION
Your qualifications and experience should include:
Current college/universityseniorwith a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
Intermediate or advanceddigitalvideo editing and production experience(evidencedviapreviouscoursework orpersonalportfolio samples) with an understanding of Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Adobe After Effects
Experiencewith other image editing software such as Adobe Photoshoppreferred
An understanding ofthe operational importance ofeffectivecommunications graphic/visualdevelopmentand file management
Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite; with Outlook Excel and PowerPoint in particular
An interest in the fields of mediaentertainmentand technology
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong research and content production instincts with the ability toconveycomplex ideas effectively and concisely
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively
The target hourly rate for this internship is $19.00per hour. The individual will be paid hourly and eligible for overtime.
