Position Description
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our / client office at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time.
We are seeking a QE Automation Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Salesforce testing Web UI and API testing and proficiency with modern automation tools. This role requires collaboration attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
UI Automation: Design and maintain robust automated test scripts for web applications using frameworks like Selenium Playwright. Focus on cross-browser compatibility and responsive design validation.
API Testing: Develop automated functional integration and contract tests for RESTful/GraphQL APIs using tools like Postman RestAssured.
Framework Architecture: Contribute to the evolution of our automation frameworks ensuring they are scalable maintainable and integrated into the CI/CD pipeline.
Defect Management: Identify document and track software defects. Work closely with Developers and Product Managers to prioritize fixes and verify resolutions.
Shift-Left Strategy: Participate in design and sprint planning sessions to identify potential quality risks early in the development lifecycle.
Performance & Security: Assist in basic load testing and security vulnerability scanning at both the UI and API levels.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Languages
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript Java or Python.
UI Testing
Experience with Playwright Cypress or Selenium Webdriver.
API Testing
Deep understanding of HTTP methods status codes and JSON/XML. Tools: Postman SoapUI or RestAssured.
CI/CD
Experience with Jenkins GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
Database
Ability to write SQL queries to validate data integrity.
Version Control
Mastery of Git (branching merging pull requests).
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $55000$105000. This role is an existing vacancy.
