We are looking for a Digital and Marketing Co-ordinator (Racing Operations) to join our dynamic and dedicated team. The ideal incumbent should be professional proactive accurate and creative.
The Digital and Marketing Co-ordinator will be responsible for performing digital marketing activities to support the business and enhance our stakeholder experience. This incumbent will collaborate with the marketing team to ensure exceptional event experiences and that first class digital marketing strategies are executed.
Location Hollywoodbets Kenilworth Racecourse (on-site)

What Youll Do
Mailers
Mailers Responsible for the compilation and dissemination of all newsletters relating to racing:
- Racing Blast (each race meeting)
- Members Mailer (monthly)
- Syndicates Mailer (monthly)
Websites
Co-ordinating updates and changes with Befsoft
Having the knowledge to make small log updates and changes directly
This would be for:
- Race Coast Turf Club website
- Social Squad website
Syndication
Co-ordinating syndication marketing and on course requirements together with the Racing Secretary. This role requires various elements including:
- Listing of syndicate horses running
- Co-ordinating marketing elements
- Updating marketing collateral
- Updating website elements
Social Squad
- Co-ordination of marketing and promotional activities relating to the Social Squad
- Working with the Events Marketing team on opportunities to grow Social Squad
General Marketing and Special Projects
- Taking the lead on the Equine Welfare project Kubo
- Working with design team on the roll out of advertising collateral as required
- Traffic manager for bookings and collation of advertising collateral for external platforms
Administration
- Updating of Asana
- Updating departmental SOP documents
- Updating syndicate lists
- Administration relating to Social Squad marketing and incentives
- Monthly and quarterly department reports (marketing)
- Working with the procurement department to procure promotional elements for the Racing Operations team
- Any other such duties that may be required
What Youll Need
- Grade 12 / Matric / NQF Level 4 Equivalent Qualification.
- A diploma or bachelors degree in marketing web design business or relevant field
(advantageous).
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in a similar position.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office suite) with web development skills (required).
- Knowledge and experience with Zoho (advantageous).
- Knowledge and experience with Asana (advantageous).
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- A portfolio demonstrating a track record of successful campaigns.
- A clear criminal record.
