The Opportunity

Were empowering smarter medical and economic decision making to help transform the way people manage their health at all stages of life. Our Point of Care diagnostic portfolio spans key health and therapeutic areas including Chemistry Electrolytes Hematology Blood Gases Coagulation Endocrinology Cardiac Markers Neurology and Informatics. This role is focused on the emergency department of the hospital and will involve providing clinical support to the account managers in the sales process to help identify and present operational workflow efficiencies in the emergency rooms to help support the value proposition and align improved outcomes with the Abbott Point of Care product portfolio.

What Youll Do

Sells technical products services installations and configurations to assigned customer for specific
technical product and/or application of product.
Provides technical interface between customer and company engineering R&D medical affairs and program management representatives.

Stakeholders will include Chief of ED CNO and other emergency physicians nurses and lab personnel.
Research customer technical specifications and requirements with current or potential technical
specifications of company products.
Prepares and conducts technical sales briefings for customer and company representatives. Able to provide workflow improvements and financial cost optimizations based on customer provided data or real-world evidence taken live.
Develops potential technical specifications pricing considerations and contract requirements.
Prepares sales forecasts.
Investigates new applications or improvements to products with customers.

Required Qualifications

Completed bachelors degree required. MSc PHD in medical sciences is preferred.

Six to ten years of relevant experience.

Ability to maintain consistent momentum with multiple products and across multiple sales cycles.

Ability to clearly concisely and accurately convey communications in English and French.

Ability to form and develop interpersonal professional relationships; display socially and professionally appropriate behavior.

Ability to influence and lead without direct authority.

Ability to work independently and as a team member.

Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills; analytical and critical-thinking skills.

Ability to prioritize and strong organizational skills.

Ability to provide solutions and contingency plans through the comprehensive review of alternatives.

Ability to speak confidently in public and present material to Executive-level management.

Six Sigma black belt and understanding of operational efficiencies is preferred.

Knowledge of MS-Office Software and CRM Databases.

Travel is approximately 50%.

Bilingual French and English preferred.
