About The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Mining Engineer to play a key hands-on role in technical pre-sales while also leading a small high-performing team of mining engineers across the APAC region.
This role is ideal for a senior mining engineer who enjoys being on the tools running demos workshops and proof-of-concepts while also mentoring others and shaping how Micromines mining solutions are positioned and delivered.
In this role you will work closely with Sales Product and Services teams to support revenue growth customer success and ongoing product evolution.
- Lead hands-on technical pre-sales activities including demos workshops tenders and proof-of-concept studies.
- Partner with Business Development Managers to support opportunity identification solution design and deal closure.
- Lead mentor and develop a small team of mining consultants and technical specialists
- Set team priorities expectations and foster a high-performance customer-focused culture
- Identify customer growth opportunities through training engagement and implementation support
- Deliver compelling value-based presentations to senior mining stakeholders
About You
You are a senior mining professional who combines strong technical depth with commercial awareness and leadership capability.
- Other key skills experience and qualifications:
- Degree in Mining Engineering (or equivalent)
- Strong experience in open pit mine planning scheduling or mining software
- Hands-on experience with Alastri will be highly regarded
- Previous experience leading or mentoring others (formal or informal)
- Excellent communication presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to build credibility and trusted relationships with mining clients
