About the Opportunity
Were seeking an experienced Art Director with strong storyboarding skills to support our clients café experience work for a one-month contract engagement. This role requires someone who can visualize creative concepts and bring scripts to life through compelling storyboards and art direction.
The Ideal Candidate
Youre a versatile art director who thinks in frames and sequences. You understand how to visualize stories before theyre shot and you know how to guide creative from napkin sketch to finished product. Youve worked at top agencies or brands know how to make brands feel approachable and engaging and can work independently while collaborating cross-functionally. You thrive under tight deadlines and bring both craft excellence and conceptual thinking to every project.
What Youll Do
- Create detailed storyboards for video content branded experiences and customer-facing café activations
- Art direct photo and video shoots from concept through execution
- Develop visual concepts that bring storytelling to life across digital experiential and in-store touchpoints
- Collaborate with copywriters designers and production teams to execute integrated campaigns
- Design supporting materials including presentation decks social assets and promotional content
- Move quickly from concept to execution while maintaining creative excellence
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For
Required:
- 10 years of professional art direction experience at respected advertising agencies
- Demonstrated storyboarding expertise with portfolio examples
- Experience working on major national brands across retail hospitality food & beverage or financial services
- Strong conceptual thinker who can partner effectively with copywriters
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience art directing video and experiential projects
- Must provide portfolio with application showing storyboard work
Bonus Points For:
- Previous experience working on financial services brands or retail concepts
- Social media and digital content expertise
- Typography and branding skills
- Presentation design experience
- Humor and human-centered storytelling approach
