Job Summary

Seasonal Program Coordinators are key in supporting the successful execution of Tims Camps Programs based on the outcome framework curriculum and standards. They provide support with the coaching training and supervision of program staff to drive the creation of a supportive and inclusive experience for campers to discover use and develop their skill addition this roleis responsible foroverseeing the Camp Office and providing superior customer service and front-line reception and hospitality for those contacting and visiting Camp.

Salary

Starting Biweekly Salary is $ 1854.00


What would you be doing


ProgramLeadership and Delivery

  • Establish relationships with youth aged 11-17 that reflect respect trust and empathy
  • Demonstrate role model andmonitorprogram standards related to safety and proper use of equipment by all staff and participants in your assigned program area(s)
  • Continually assess risks andtake action to correctand/or report risks completing necessary documentation asrequired
  • Assistwith coachingsupervisingand evaluating staff including the completion and delivery of performance management process
  • Support the delivery of staff training asrequired
  • Monitorsupportand communicate camper issues with the management team
  • Work with program staff to ensure program area and equipment are organized fully stocked and in good repair
  • Coordinate develop and execute programsin accordance withTHFC and accrediting body standards


CampAdministration

  • Commitment to superior customer service and a consistent front-line hospitable presence in the Camp Office
  • Respond to camp use and guest inquiries via phone and email andmaintainthe camp calendar and office supply inventory
  • Complete assigned administrative duties; including but not limited to petty cashmonitoringassigned budget lines invoicing reconciling the camp travel visa(s) and required reports
  • Oversee summer travel program and coordinate camperarrival to and departure from camp. Arrange required shuttles hotels and meals for staffaccompanyingcamper travel
  • Support cross functional administrative tasks as required

Does this sound like you

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma or equivalent experience
  • Experience in an administrative and or customer service role
    Superior organizational multi-tasking and time management skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Experienced facilitator. Demonstrates ability to adapt facilitation style based on individual or group needs
  • Skilled in positive behavior management and problem solving
  • Certified in Standard First Aid CPR (adult child infant) with AED or willing to obtain
  • Able to provide an acceptable criminal background check or vulnerable sector check
  • Are legally able to work in Canada
  • Able to live onsite for extended periods of time and work flexible hours
  • Related youth and/or camp experience
  • G-class drivers license or equivalent (considered an asset)
  • Required technical certifications are based on assigned program areas and are outlined in the Program Standards
  • Able to work flexible hours while campers are present on site
