Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design development and support of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage Kubernetes-based containerization including building images and orchestrating deployments.
- Oversee the deployment and management of automation tools like Ansible Puppet and Chef.
- Implement and optimize infrastructure-as-code environments for large-scale deployments.
- Ensure security and compliance by evaluating and mitigating vulnerabilities in containerized environments.
- Mentor junior developers and guide teams toward innovative mission-aligned solutions.
Qualifications :
- Active TS/SCI
- Experience developing custom applications and supporting them in a production environment
- 5 years of experience building and supporting DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
- 3 years of experience with containerization building images and orchestrating deployments in Kubernetes
- 2 years of experience managing tools deployed with Helm using ArgoCD or Flux and writing custom Helm charts
- 2 years of experience with automation tools (e.g. Ansible Puppet Chef)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code environments including activities around the automated server or network configurations large-scale software deployments or monitoring and testing such as continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
- Knowledge of container networking monitoring and storage solutions
- Knowledge of container security technologies with experience evaluating and mitigating or resolving vulnerability findings
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience developing in Java or Python
- Experience with Prometheus/Grafana and/or ElasticSearch/Kibana and FluentD
- Experience with design deployment and management of Cloud environments including AWS or Azure
- Experience with using or migrating continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipeline solutions or tools including Jenkins Git or TeamCity
- Experience with system integration using a variety of protocols including JSON REST and XML
- Experience with scripting in Bash PowerShell Python Groovy or Ruby and leveraging JSON YAML or XML for configuration
- Knowledge of cloud and virtualization-based technologies including Docker Azure AWS or VMware
- Knowledge of Linux or UNIX administration and automation
- Knowledge of foundational system administration principles
- Knowledge of and experience with classified environment processes and protocols
- Kubernetes certification
