Senior Utility Infrastructure Manager Data Center Construction

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Utility Infrastructure Manager to support the delivery of large utilityintensive infrastructure within major data center construction programs. These multiphase developments involve substantial power demand complex substation and transmission coordination and extensive site utility work.

Must be willing to travel regularly to project sites and client locations as required.


Responsibilities:

• Support delivery of highvoltage substation and transmissionlevel infrastructure required for largescale data center developments.
• Coordinate closely with utility providers on power delivery schedules grid connections and longlead equipment.
• Oversee construction interfaces related to highcapacity electrical systems and transmission upgrades.
• Manage installation of major power systems modular infrastructure components and backup generation.
• Coordinate multiphase construction activities across large campuses with significant utility water and sewer improvements.
• Monitor fasttrack construction activities tied to power delivery site utilities and building infrastructure.
• Collaborate with design teams contractors and utility partners across all delivery phases.
• Support schedule development risk identification reporting and interface management for utilityrelated scopes.
• Ensure compliance with permitting environmental requirements and local authority processes.
• Provide onsite oversight for utility and infrastructure construction activities.
• Drive safety leadership and ensure adherence to all health and safety standards.
• Support resolution of technical challenges and ensure quality across all project stages.
• SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role which are to be adhered to where applicable.

Qualifications :

• Must be willing to travel regularly to project sites and client locations as required.
• Experience managing large utility electrical industrial or missioncritical infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of highvoltage substation construction transmission systems and largecapacity power delivery.
• Bachelors or advanced degree in engineering construction management or a related field required. Additional training or certifications (e.g. PMP PE) preferred.
• Ability to manage complex stakeholder groups including contractors utility providers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong commercial awareness related to contracts procurement scheduling and risk.
• Excellent communication coordination and problemsolving skills.
