As a Salesforce Data 360 (Data Cloud) Consultant you will play a key role in the hands-on technical solutioning and implementation of Salesforce Data Cloud to enable a unified and actionable view of the customer. The role focuses on data ingestion data modeling identity resolution segmentation and activation and works closely with other cross-functional team members to shape and implement Data Cloud projects that support business use cases personalized cross-channel engagement and future scalability.
Solution Design & Implementation
Contribute to and shape the technical solution design for Salesforce Data Cloud with a strong focus on data modeling identity resolution and activation patterns
Design and configure data ingestion mapping and harmonization into Data Model Objects (DMOs)
Design and implement identity resolution rules calculated insights and segmentation logic aligned with business requirements
Build validate and optimize activation-ready datasets for use across Marketing Cloud Sales Cloud Service Cloud and other platforms
Integration & Data Management
Integrate Salesforce Data Cloud with Salesforce platforms and external systems using standard connectors and APIs supporting batch streaming and zero-copytion patterns
Use SQL and Data Cloud native capabilities to define calculated insights support segmentation logic and enable data-driven analysis
Ensure data governance and security
Support the use of Data Cloud AI features and Flows to analyze data and act on it
Delivery & Collaboration
Translate business requirements and use cases into scalable technical solutions in collaboration with business and solution leads
Actively participate in solution design discussions client workshops and delivery planning
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing CRM integration analytics) to deliver end-to-end solutions
Qualifications :
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud or similar CDP platforms gained through project implementation experience
Solid knowledge of SQL data modeling APIs and data integration patterns
Experience integrating Salesforce Data Cloud with Sales Service and Marketing Cloud and/or external systems
Good understanding of customer data concepts such as identity resolution segmentation consent and activation
Ability to reason about complex data requirements and contribute to scalable maintainable technical solutions
Typically 35 years of Salesforce platform experience (Marketing Cloud Sales/Service) with relevant exposure to Data Cloud and/or CDP implementations
Certifications
Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant certification preferred (or currently in progress)
Additional Salesforce certifications (Admin Sales Service Marketing Cloud Integration etc.) nice to have
Soft Skills
Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
Detail-oriented and quality-focused
Comfortable working in complex evolving delivery environments
