Corporate Counsel

Main Responsibilities:

• Is responsible for verifying approving and fulfilling all legal formalities related to contracts agreements and addenda at company/store level as applicable;
• Provides legal assistance in investigations and collaborates with external lawyers in litigation;
• Represents the Company before public authorities and courts of law when necessary;
• Provides legal advice on all requested legal matters and ensures the drafting review and/or endorsement of specific contracts in accordance with the applicable legislation;
• Prepares upon request reports and/or legislative interpretations with an impact on the Companys activity;
• Provides legal assistance consulting and training on legal issues legislative interpretation and where applicable customs matters;
• Has the obligation to comply with the Companys policies and all internal procedures communicated in accordance with the applicable legislation;
• Performs any other tasks or responsibilities agreed upon with the Head of the Legal and Compliance Department.

Qualifications :

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar legal role;
• University degree in Law with a strong legal foundation and understanding of applicable legislation;
• Fluency in English;
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze complex legal matters identify risks and ensure accuracy in legal documentation;
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams while also being capable of working independently.
