The University of Chicagos Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Medicine seeks Clinical Associates at full-time effort for renewable terms of up to three years.
Appointees will have inpatient and outpatient responsibilities supporting offsite community practices including the University of Chicago practice site in Crown Point IN. These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation is dependent upon qualifications. These positions are benefits-eligible. Prior to the start of employment qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate orequivalent 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois and Indiana 3) be Board certified or eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery 4) have completed an ACGME-approved orthopaedic surgery residency or its equivalent and 5) have completed an ACGME-approved fellowship or its equivalent in an area directly relevant to the specialization.
We especially welcome applicants with an interest in joint replacement surgery who could build a practice rapidly including outpatient joints program.
