About the Role:
We are seeking a DeltaV Engineer to design configure and implement Emerson DeltaV automation systems for regulated Life Sciences manufacturing. Key Responsibilities:
- Design configure and implement Emerson DeltaV control systems and ISA-88 batch processes
- Engineer system architecture HMI historian and control strategies
- Ensure compliance with GAMP5 cGMP and 21 CFR Part 11
- Conduct FAT/SAT startup commissioning and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams
- Mentor junior engineers and support technical growth
- Travel up to 25% for on-site commissioning
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Electrical Control Systems Chemical Engineering or related field
- 37 years of hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV systems and PLC integration
- Expertise in ISA-88 batch processes and industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP Modbus Profibus OPC HART Foundation Fieldbus)
- Experience in Life Sciences pharmaceutical biotech or medical device environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of historian systems alarm management and advanced control strategies
- Familiarity with Rockwell Automation Siemens PCS7 or other DCS/SCADA systems
- AutoCAD and electrical design experience
- Mentoring and translating functional specs into software design
