Job Title: CNC Machinist (Afternoon or Night Shift)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift Options:
- Afternoons: 2:00 PM 10:30 PM
- Nights: 10:00 PM 6:30 AM
Pay Range: $25.00 $37.50 per hour (based on experience)
About the Opportunity
An established aerospace manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join its precision machining team. This role involves setting up and operating CNC equipment to produce high-quality gas turbine engine components in a clean organized and team-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate various CNC machines including lathes mills grinders shapers and select manual machines
- Machine precision aerospace components to engineering and customer specifications
- Perform part inspections and testing to ensure compliance with blueprints and manufacturing standards
- Visually inspect parts for burrs defects or surface damage
- Maintain accurate documentation and part identification per production requirements
- Communicate effectively during shift changes to ensure continuity and accuracy of work
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
- Support additional machining-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 4 years of experience operating lathes mills or grinders
- Experience with precision machining required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints planning documents and manufacturing specifications
- Working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Experience machining aerospace materials such as stainless steel Inconel Hastelloy and aluminum is a plus
- Willingness to work afternoon or night shift
- Machine-specific training available
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to push or pull up to 60 lbs
- Grip strength of at least 50 lbs
- Ability to reach above shoulder height (approximately 65 inches)
- Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods

- U.S. Citizenship required
- Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance if required
