Role Purpose
The Business Continuity Management (BCM) Expert will be responsible for assessing designing and validating business continuity and operational resilience frameworks to ensure organizational preparedness regulatory compliance and effective response to disruptions within complex public or semi-public entities.
Key Responsibilities
Design assess and review enterprise-level BCM frameworks policies and plans across critical functions and services.
Evaluate existing BCM methodologies and deliverables for completeness practicality and alignment with international best practices.
Ensure compliance with relevant international standards particularly ISO 22301 and adapt their application to government or semi-government environments.
Assess alignment with Saudi national requirements for business continuity crisis management and operational resilience.
Support stakeholder engagement workshops and validation sessions including review of Arabic-language documentation.
Provide clear actionable recommendations to enhance BCM maturity and implementation effectiveness.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Proven hands-on experience in BCM framework design assessment and implementation within large complex organizations.
Strong familiarity with the Saudi national context related to business continuity crisis preparedness and resilience.
Demonstrated knowledge of international BCM standards (e.g. ISO 22301) and their practical application.
Ability to critically review technical BCM deliverables and provide structured evidence-based feedback.
Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) is mandatory.
