Overview

A fast-growing international technology team is expanding its engineering capability in Vietnam and is looking to hire a Developer to join its Ho Chi Minh City office. This role sits within a collaborative product engineering environment focused on building scalable web-based platforms and backend integrations.

The Role

You will be part of an agile development team responsible for designing building and maintaining modern web applications and backend services. The position offers strong exposure to integration work cloud environments and DevOps-driven delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop test deploy and maintain web-based applications technologies

• Integrate with backend systems via APIs and messaging frameworks

• Improve software quality through code reviews unit testing and agile engineering practices

• Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts on user story refinement

• Work closely with QA teams on automation and bug resolution

• Support DevOps initiatives including build release and deployment automation

• Prepare technical documentation interface specifications and design materials

Profile

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field

• 5 years of experience developing web applications technologies

• Strong programming fundamentals (OOP design patterns clean code practices)

• Solid communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams

• Proactive mindset with strong attention to quality and maintainability

• Comfortable working in agile/Scrum environments

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Experience with public cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS

• Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems

• Experience building platform-level features (configuration management feature flags service discovery etc.)

• Familiarity with messaging technologies (Kafka AMQP MQTT or similar)

• Exposure to containerization (Docker) and artifact repositories (Nexus Artifactory)

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo

• Understanding of database schema design and system integration patterns

• Scrum certification or prior experience in mature Scrum teams
