An opportunity has opened to join the Mainfreight2Home Auckland family as a Class 2 Owner Driver servicing deliveries within Auckland. The role will require someone with a good level of fitness and a can-do attitude with the opportunity to progress amongst the Mainfreight group. Delivering predominantly to residential previous similar experience including delivering furniture or whiteware would be advantageous as well as the role requiring to hire an offsider to assist with deliveries.

Day to day responsibilities:

Lead a team of two with strong communication with customers and the team
Safe loading securing and unloading of freight
Managing the pick-up and delivery of freight on time and damage free
Ensuring your truck is maintained in immaculate condition
Delight our customers every day

Requirements:

CurrentClass 2 Licence/Class one for van
Previous carrier experience
Transport service Licence (TSL)
Forklift and Dangerous Goods Licences.
Appropriate finance with the ability to purchase a brand-new vehicle
Excellent communication and immaculate personal presentation
We are a 6 day a week operation so need to be available one day in the weekend
