Responsibilities

Provide personal care: bathing dressing grooming toileting eating ambulation and transfers per each clients plan of care
Monitor clients condition and report any changes promptly
Prepare light meals and provide nutrition support
Perform light housekeeping related to client care
Offer companionship and emotional support
Support use of mobility devices (wheelchair walker etc.)
Provide medication reminders (no medication administration)
Maintain accurate documentation using our mobile app
Follow infection control and safety procedures (CDC-compliant)
Uphold agency policies procedures and professional standards

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months of professional caregiving experience (non-family care)
Reliable transportation to Valparaiso IN
High school diploma or GED
Current CPR certification and TB test (or willing to obtain)
Must pass a national background check
Valid photo ID and Social Security card (for employment verification)
Dependable compassionate and professional
