Job Summary:

Polaris a global powersports leader is seeking a Project Engineer in the Vehicle Electronics and Software team. This position supports the execution of design and development activities from concept to production for vehicle electronics embedded software electrical systems and connected technologies. The role focuses on coordinating engineering tasks tracking progress identifying issues supporting risk mitigation and ensuring alignment with program goals across multiple vehicle platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate engineering tasks and support execution of VES deliverables across multiple projects.
  • Support Business Unit and Program leadership by tracking VES scope requirements issues and risks.
  • Apply the Polaris Product Development Process (PDP) to ensure engineering requirements are documented and met.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules resource needs and budget estimates.
  • Ensure electrical/software deliverables remain aligned with platform and feature requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve issues gather inputs and maintain alignment.
  • Prepare clear and concise status updates for program leadership across the organization.
  • Contribute to a positive high-performing team culture.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience & Skills

  • BS Engineering Degree required.
  • 25 years of engineering or engineering project experience in a similar industry.
  • Strong technical background; background in electronics embedded software or system integration preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with project management tools and basic scheduling methods.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Detailoriented with a focus on quality and customer needs.

Working Conditions:

  • Dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Up to 5-15% travel throughout the year both domestic and international.

The starting pay range for Minnesota is $78000 to $103000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education experience knowledge skills and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.

To qualify for this position former employees must be eligible for rehire and current employees must be in good standing.
