- To supervise and control all cost-related activities ensuring effective cost management accurate reporting and compliance with company policies in order to maximize profitability and operational efficiency
- Supervise daily cost control operations and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
- Monitor and analyze Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and investigate variances.
- Review purchase invoices and verify them against contracts and agreed pricing.
- Supervise periodic and surprise inventory counts and ensure stock accuracy.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on costs variances waste and profitability to management.
- Coordinate with Purchasing Stores and Finance departments to ensure data accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with internal cost control policies and procedures.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend actions to reduce waste and improve margins.
- Train guide and supervise cost control staff (if applicable).
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 35 years of experience in Cost Control (preferably in Hospitality Restaurants or Manufacturing).
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and cost accounting systems.
