This position plays a key role in administering UAFs campus-based financial aid programs with a primary focus on the Federal Work-Study (FWS) program. As part of the Financial Aid Office this position works closely with students supervisors HR partners and community employers to ensure federal and institutional funds are awarded and managed accurately efficiently and in compliance with federal regulations.
To thrive in this role an applicant should be highly detail-oriented comfortable tracking complex data across multiple systems and able to adapt quickly to constantly changing federal regulations and institutional procedures. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with campus departments community partners and students are essential. Experience with financial aid processes student employment or other compliance-driven work is helpful but a willingness to learn problem-solve and navigate nuanced rules will set an applicant up for success.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a related field and three years relevant experience with Financial Aid credentials or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Position Details:
This is a full-time exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary andfull employee benefits package. New hires will be placed on theUA Staff Salary Schedule Grade 79 based on education and experience.
