Assisting Hands Home Care Merrillville is hiring for dependable compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical in-home care to seniors and adults in Crown Point Indiana.

What Youll Do
- Provide personalized care according to each clients Plan of Care
- Assist with personal needs: bathing dressing grooming toileting and transfers
- Maintain a safe clean home (light housekeeping laundry organizing meal preparation)
- Offer companionship and promote social engagement
- Support mobility (walker wheelchair) and provide medication reminders
- Observe and report any changes in client condition or behavior
- Document care accurately using our mobile app
- Follow infection control and safety procedures (CDC-compliant)
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred
- Reliable transportation valid drivers license and proof of auto insurance
- Current CPR certification and TB test
- Must pass a national background check
- Compassionate patient and dependable
