Job Summary

Seasonal Contract - May 15th to October 31 2026


Contractors will need to have their own WCB and Insurance. It would be preferred for contractor to have their own equipment but would consider contractors using Williams Lake First Nation equipment.

WORK REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-2 days per week
  • Performs day-to-day ground maintenance duties for all assigned buildings.
  • Mow lawns using push mowers riding mowers.
  • Trim and edge lawns sidewalks parking lots and landscaped areas.
  • Apply mulch topsoil and grass seed as needed.
  • Remove leaves grass clippings and debris from property.
  • Identify and report lawn or irrigation issues.
  • Keep repair tools and supplies clean and organized.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Perform other groundskeeping or maintenance task as assigned.
  • Ensure a safe work environment is always maintained with a commitment to working safely.
  • Support the mission vision and values of Williams Lake First Nation.
