Are you a process & software engineer JRM Job & Reticle Management who is a team player and looking to work in a dynamic high-tech environment We might just be looking for you!
NXP Semiconductors N.V. provides High Performance Mixed Signal and Standard Product solutions maximizing its leading expertise in RF Analog Power Management Interface Security and Digital Processing. These innovations are used in a wide range of automotive identification wireless infrastructure lighting industrial mobile consumer and computing applications. We are a global semiconductor company with operations in more than 35 countries having over 45.000 employees and a revenue of more than$10 billion.
ICN8 is the largest 8-inch integrated-circuit wafer fab in Europe. It is a high-tech environment with many multi-discipline challenges housing over 600 manufacturing tools (ASML ASM/TEL Applied Materials LAM) and 150 measurement tools (inline inspections end-of-line testing). Products are made in CMOS BIMOS RFCMOS and SOI the next few years we will continue our efforts in transferring processes to our fab enabling further growth and enlarging the capacity of our tool park.
The JRM group within the Litho section handles various lithography jobs for production and in special cases for engineers in support of research and/or addition the group is responsible for the logistics related to reticles. This includes managing production reticles and optimizing the distribution of reticles across eight different reticle stockers in the factory.
Job Mission
To support the Equipment and Process Engineering (EPE) organization by maintaining initiating and implementing technical improvements to support the Manufacturing organization. The JRM engineer operate independently within the work domain of creating maintaining and optimizing scanner and stepper jobs within the 8 production organization. These jobs are essential for the lithography production process. They control the steppers and scanners to ensure accurate wafer exposure at the correct locationsa form of recipe that governs the various process steps ranging from 2 to 40 layers each with its associated reticles (masks).
Job Description
You will report to the Engineering section manager of LITHOGRAPHY. You will be required to support Manufacturing and Process Sustaining and Enhancement (PSE). The JRM engineer performs optimization activities largely manually relying on technical insight and expertise as the underlying layout rules cannot be automated. This requires extensive knowledge of scanner and stepper behavior as well as a strong understanding of the complete production flow and IC layer stack.
Furthermore the JRM engineer maintains and modifies existing jobs to address product or processrelated changes that impact productivity and/or yield based on requests from Lithography engineers. They also ensure that default jobsused as the basis for all newly created jobsare kept up to date.
