Sr DevAx Solutions Architect, AGS Tech Field LATAM PACE

Developers and development teams are key influencers who steer organizational adoption of new technologies services and platforms. The mission of the Developer Acceleration (DevAx) team is to help developers gain greater familiarity and confidence building modern cloud-native applications that take full advantage of AWSs wide range of services. Through direct developer engagement DevAx helps customers to address actual business problems and accelerated design development and deployment of production quality cloud native application workloads.

As a DevAx Solution Architect (SA) you will help customers to innovate and scale applying patterns and architectural best practices for developing and operating full-stack cloud-native workloads. You will collaborate with customers and peers develop content and enable the wider community to harness the power of the AWS Cloud.

In this role you will continuously sharpen and apply your expertise in programming languages distributed systems design patterns and the full software development life-cycle to upskill developers and development teams on AWS cloud services the third-party ecosystem and partner solutions.

As a trusted advisor with proven technical expertise developing full-stack solutions on AWS Cloud you will share recommendations around system and application architectures security and cost considerations performance reliability and operational efficiency to speed up the customers challenging mission-critical projects.

Internally you will be the voice of the customer. You will articulate customer needs by synthesizing your observations from customer engagements and market trends around custom-developed workloads to inform the roadmap of AWS service teams.

In this role your creativity will link technology to tangible solutions with the opportunity to define cloud-native reference architectures for a variety of use cases.

You will drive the creation and sharing of best practices technical content and new reference architectures (e.g. white papers code samples blog posts) and evangelize and educate about AWS as a cloud development platform (e.g. through workshops user groups meetups public speaking online videos or conferences).

Key job responsibilities
A Senior DevAX Solutions Architect embeds as an advisory member of customer engineering teams to accelerate application development and the adoption of emerging technologies.

The role focuses on transferring knowledge tools and processes to enable customers to build well-architected production-ready solutions while removing obstacles in navigating AWS services.

Key responsibilities include participating in customer acceleration engagements focused on production readiness with strategic customers leading thought leadership projects such as whitepapers and workshops to scale best practices and building a regional community by mentoring new members.

The role also involves developing and running developer-focused enablement programs during the technical validation stage with the ultimate goal of making AWS the preferred for developers and development leadership.

- 8 years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development cloud computing systems engineering infrastructure security networking data & analytics) experience
- 10 years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- 3 years of design implementation or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- Able to communicate effectively in English within technical and business settings.

- 5 years of infrastructure architecture database architecture and networking experience
- Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
- Experience working in a customer-facing role
- Working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience designing developing refactoring and operating distributed applications
- Hands-on experience with programming languages tools and frameworks and cloud-centric technology domains complex networking implementations and highly secured workloads.
- Cloud Technology Certification or Developer Certification
