Description:

  • Contribute to supply chain excellence and customer success
  • Develop and manage credible demand signals in collaboration with internal stakeholders and customers
  • Create and maintain accurate 1824 month rolling demand forecasts
  • Lead and manage the monthly Sales Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align commercial strategies with operational capabilities
  • Analyze historical data market trends and customer insights to optimize inventory levels while maintaining high service levels
  • Engage regularly with commercial teams and customers to build effective partnerships and improve forecast accuracy
  • Drive continuous improvement in demand planning processes and outcomes
  • Support new product introductions and manage product lifecycle transitions
  • Provide critical insights to support strategic business decisions
  • Implement process improvements support team members and contribute to operational excellence initiatives

Requirements:

  • Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience or Bachelors Degree plus 8 years of experience in demand planning forecasting or supply chain
  • Preferred Fields of Study: Supply Chain Management Operations Management Engineering or Business Administration
  • APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) preferred
  • Strong proficiency in statistical forecasting methodologies and SIOP/IBP processes
  • Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office suite (Excel PowerPoint Word)
  • Advanced analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for stakeholder engagement
  • Experience with demand planning software (Demantra Kinaxis or similar tools)
  • Proven track record of improving forecast accuracy and reducing bias
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities
  • Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry preferred
  • Knowledge of Power BI and preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as required
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and mentoring skills
  • Experience facilitating meetings and driving consensus across stakeholder groups
