Description:
- Contribute to supply chain excellence and customer success
- Develop and manage credible demand signals in collaboration with internal stakeholders and customers
- Create and maintain accurate 1824 month rolling demand forecasts
- Lead and manage the monthly Sales Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align commercial strategies with operational capabilities
- Analyze historical data market trends and customer insights to optimize inventory levels while maintaining high service levels
- Engage regularly with commercial teams and customers to build effective partnerships and improve forecast accuracy
- Drive continuous improvement in demand planning processes and outcomes
- Support new product introductions and manage product lifecycle transitions
- Provide critical insights to support strategic business decisions
- Implement process improvements support team members and contribute to operational excellence initiatives
Requirements:
- Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience or Bachelors Degree plus 8 years of experience in demand planning forecasting or supply chain
- Preferred Fields of Study: Supply Chain Management Operations Management Engineering or Business Administration
- APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) preferred
- Strong proficiency in statistical forecasting methodologies and SIOP/IBP processes
- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office suite (Excel PowerPoint Word)
- Advanced analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for stakeholder engagement
- Experience with demand planning software (Demantra Kinaxis or similar tools)
- Proven track record of improving forecast accuracy and reducing bias
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry preferred
- Knowledge of Power BI and preferred
- Ability to travel up to 25% as required
- Strong business acumen and understanding of manufacturing processes
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and mentoring skills
- Experience facilitating meetings and driving consensus across stakeholder groups
